Donnybrook Grinds – FAQs

  1. Do you offer any discounts or deals?

    • Yes!

      • Book 2 or more subjects and get the second subject half price.

      • Refer a friend and get a 10% discount on your next booking.

  2. What happens if I miss a class?

    • You’ll receive access to detailed class notes and any materials used so you can catch up in your own time.

  3. How do I attend a live class?

    • Classes are delivered via Zoom.

    • A unique class link will be emailed to you 30 minutes before the class starts.

  4. Is homework given?

    • Yes.

    • Homework is assigned to reinforce learning and improve understanding between sessions.

    • You can email questions at any time for help or clarification.

  5. What happens if a student misbehaves or disrupts the class?

    • Any student disrupting the class will be removed immediately.

    • Repeat offences will result in a ban from future attendance with no refund given.

  6. What happens if Donnybrook Grinds cancels a lesson?

    • If a class is cancelled by Donnybrook Grinds, it will be either:

      • Rescheduled, or

      • Refunded in full for that session.

  7. What subjects do you offer?

    • We offer grinds in Leaving Cert Irish & Maths

    • Based on demand, the following subjects will be offered:

      • Physics

      • Applied Maths

      • Spanish

      • German

      • Biology

      • Economics

  8. How big are the class sizes?

    • Class sizes are kept small to ensure every student can receive individual attention and ask questions comfortably.

  9. Do you offer one-to-one grinds?

    • Yes.

    • Private, 1:1 sessions are available upon request and subject to tutor availability.

  10. How do I pay for classes?

    • Payment is taken via Stripe

  11. What if I have questions between classes?

  • Students are encouraged to email questions at any time.

  • We are happy to support learning outside of class hours.

  1. Do you provide revision courses or crash courses?

  • Yes – exam-focused revision courses are run during holiday periods and in the lead-up to exams.
